| St Andrews school: 12/04/99
Still a 5 piece, the one and only gig we played like this. It was crap they sounded and played awfull, nothing clicked and the audience where poor. But not even these guys could pull off a good performance in their first ever gig.
Mayor's Millenium Youth Carnival : 06/05/99
We one this, and it was a bonus cos we played to a huge crowd, about 700 people, and for us at that stage that is huge! It was a realgood day out too!
Guides Hall : 26/06/99
4 piece, played better, better audience. Still not at our peak but ok.
Donkey Derby : 28/07/99
4 piece again, mess up with the drum kit. Ended up with Dom Gore crying! We played okay even if it was only to about 19 people!
Christmas Bonanza : 18/12/99
Okay audience, alot of hecklers, very cold. They were only aloud to play 2 songs, so that was a bit of a bummer.
St Andrews school 2: 04/04/00
Was shite as shite can be, they played shite and the audience were messed up.
Cobham Villiage Day : 17/07/00
Now a 3 piece, this was the day before Sam went on holiday, so he was tired from packing. Played well but the PA was shot. Two half hour sets, pretty good.
Red Eye Venue : 29/11/00
Played to a good crowd of about 35, met a good band called HJ21, promised us a supporting gig. Havent heard from em since. We played well and got lots of good support.
A party somewhere in Kingston 15/12/00
Really really fun show, the crowd was crazy and Complex GSL didn't seem to care about anything and ended up taking requests from the audience once they had finished their set.
Tuesday 09/01/01 :
Played a show at the CVC club in Surbiton, it was a super fun show and Complex GSL headlined a great gig, with a forty minute set, finishing with " I have a crush on your mum"
Break - there are no shows until May because of stupid school, so i'll keep you posted.
Plantation Cafe : 18/05/01
Complex GSL supported System 2, a new metal band ???!!(i know we where thinking the same thing. But anyways it was a good show and we have been asked back to play a headlining show, but we have been banned from swearing as we apparently said the word "f*ck" too many times.
POSSIBLE / UPCOMING GIGS
Two possible special gigs coming up, with bands that are good friends of ours. Neither of them have been confirmed yet but they are very close to being so, so keep you eyes open!!!!
